What is a Single Sided PCB?

Single sided PCBs are a type of circuit boards having components mounted on its one side, whereas the conducting wires are connected at the other side. Only the desired copper traces or pathways are left after etching. The conducting layers are typically made of thin copper foil. Basically, the board is coated with a solder mask that is in green color. Blue and red are some other colors available.

Multiple Layer PCBs

Circuit boards that are composed of various layers are known as multi-layer PCBs. These layers can be either thin etched boards or trace layers. In both cases, they are bonded with lamination. For lamination, the internal layers of the PCB are subjected to under extreme temperature.
